Q: How accurate are the weather predictions?
A: WhenCast uses professional weather data sources. While we strive for accuracy, weather can be unpredictable. Always use your judgment for safety-critical activities.
Q: Why don't I see all activities?
A: Some activities require WhenCast Pro. Free users get access to Running, Car Wash, and BBQ activities.
Q: Can I use WhenCast without internet?
A: WhenCast requires internet connection to fetch current weather data for accurate recommendations.
Q: How do I add multiple locations?
A: Go to the Locations tab → Tap the "+" button (Pro feature) → Search for your desired location → Tap to save it
Q: How do I change temperature units?
A: Go to Settings → tap Temperature Unit → choose Fahrenheit or Celsius
Q: Why is my location wrong?
A: Make sure location services are enabled for WhenCast in your device settings. You can also manually select a saved location in the Locations tab.
Q: What's included in WhenCast Pro?
A: Unlimited saved locations, 15+ premium activity alerts, custom weather thresholds for each activity, extended forecast planning, and priority support.
Q: How do I restore my Pro purchase?
A: Go to Settings → tap "Restore Purchases". This will restore your subscription if you purchased on the same Apple ID.
Q: Can I cancel my subscription?
A: Yes, manage your subscription through your Apple ID settings: Open Settings app → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Find WhenCast → Cancel Subscription
Q: How do I customize activity settings?
A: Pro users can customize settings by going to Settings → Decision Preferences → [Activity] Settings
Q: Why am I not getting notifications?
A: Check that notifications are enabled in device Settings → WhenCast, ensure the activity is toggled ON in the Alerts tab, and verify you have location access enabled.
Q: What activities does WhenCast support?

Pro: Dog Walking, Painting, Plant Watering, Laundry Drying, Allergy Alerts, Rain Alerts, Lightning Alerts, Temperature Drop Alerts, Air Quality Alerts, Frost Warnings, Golden Hour Photography, and more!
Problem: App crashes or freezes
Force close the app and restart → Restart your device → Update to the latest version of WhenCast → Contact support if issues persist
Problem: Weather data seems outdated
Pull down to refresh in the Decisions tab → Check your internet connection → Verify location services are enabled
Problem: Decisions seem inaccurate
Pro users can adjust thresholds in Settings → Remember recommendations are based on general conditions → Consider your personal preferences and local microclimates
